RCMP Investigate Robbery

The Wood Buffalo RCMP is seeking the assistance from the general public in regards to a Robbery.

The victim attended the RCMP Detachment in Timberlea on December 18th, 2014 to file a complaint. The female victim reported that the Robbery occurred on Tuesday December 16th, 2014 between, 8 and 9 pm. The Initial investigation reveals the victim was standing outside the back doors of an apartment building 10110 Franklin Ave waiting for a friend. It was at this time she felt some one pull at her purse. After turning towards the assailant she was assaulted and her purse was stolen. The victim was found lying on the ground by her friend and was then taken to hospital. The victim was treated and released.

The investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to contact Wood Buffalo RCMP.
