Wood Buffalo RCMP investigates theft of mail

Fort McMurray, Alberta: On July 18th, 2018, at approximately 11:16 p.m., Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a report of a theft of mail left outside the front door at a residence in the Timberlea neighborhood in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Thanks to a security camera, the incident was recorded and the alleged female suspect was observed stealing parcels that were recently delivered on the door step.

The female suspect is described as:
• Medium build
• Blond hair pulled back in a bun

The female suspect was last seen wearing:
• Black sleeveless summer dress
• Sandals
• Carrying a black cross-body purse and a blue carry-on bag

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this incident, is asked to please contact the Wood Buffalo RCMP at 780-788-4040, or your local police.
