Wood Buffalo RCMP locate stolen vehicle, arrest three men, and seize drugs

Fort McMurray, AB: On September 15th 2018 at approximately 8:00 p.m. a police officer from the Wood Buffalo RCMP Crime Reduction Unit located a stolen vehicle from British Columbia, near Manning Avenue and Hardin Street, in the downtown area of Fort McMurray. The ensuing investigation resulted in police recovering a stolen vehicle, seizing drug paraphernalia and suspect Crack Cocaine weighing over 6 grams. Three adult males were arrested and are facing several charges.

Jeffrey Adam Scoville, a 36-year old resident of Fort McMurray, was arrested and is facing the following charges:
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking, Section 5(2) of the C.D.S.A.,
• Possession of stolen property over $5000.00, Section 355(a) of the C.C.C., and
• Obstructing a peace officer, Section 129(a) of the C.C.C.

Police also executed outstanding warrants for the arrest of Jeffrey Scoville out of Fort McMurray for fraudulently obtaining food/lodging. Jeffrey’s next court appearance is scheduled at the Fort McMurray Provincial Court House for 1:30 p.m. on October 23, 2018.

Pierre Misericordia, a 60-year old from Mission, British Columbia, was arrested and is facing the following charges:
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking, Section 5(2) of the C.D.S.A., and
• Possession of stolen property over $5000.00, Section 355(a) of the C.C.C.

Pierre’s next court appearance is scheduled at the Fort McMurray Provincial Court House for 1:30 p.m. on September 25, 2018.

Zai Gebremariam Tekie, a 28-year old resident of Fort McMurray, Alberta, was arrested and is facing the following charges:
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking, Section 5(2) of the C.D.S.A.,
• Possession of stolen property over $5000.00, Section 355(a) of the C.C.C.,
• 2x Fail to comply with probation order, Section 733.1(1) of the C.C.C, and
• 2x Fail to comply with release conditions, Section 145(3) C.C.C.

Zai’s next court appearance is scheduled at the Fort McMurray Provincial Court House for 1:30 p.m. on September 25, 2018.
