Fort McMurray, Alberta:  On January 13th, 2018, at approximately 2:25 a.m., Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a report of a possible hit and run in the Eagle Ridge area of Fort McMurray, on Killdeer Way.

Police attended, and observed damage to two vehicles that had been parked in the driveway. Security footage was obtained in the area and RCMP were able to view the footage. In the video footage, a red coloured Dodge truck was seen driving into both parked vehicles and came to a stop on a snow bank. The Dodge truck then reversed and left the scene. The damage on the truck was likely along the passenger side and the passenger head light.

Public assistance is requested for more information on this suspect Dodge pick up truck, or if someone was a witness to this collision, they are requested to contact the Wood Buffalo RCMP at 780-788-4040. If anyone else has more video surveillance, they are asked to provide the video footage to police.

If a repair shop has been approached to fix damage to a red Dodge truck to the front or passenger side, estimated to be approximately 10 years old, they are asked to contact the Wood Buffalo RCMP as well.

The RCMP would like to thank the residents for assisting with information to help reduce crime and make our community safe.
