Wood Buffalo RCMP: Seek Assistance Locating a Missing Male – Update 1- Located

Fort McMurray, Alberta: On May 20th, 2018, in the evening hours, Wood Buffalo RCMP located Travis Borden Benoit, safe and well. The RCMP would like to thank the public for their care and concern.


BACKGROUND:

May 20th, 2018

Fort McMurray, Alberta: On May 18th, 2018, at 10:00 pm, a 26 year old male was reported as missing to the Wood Buffalo RCMP.  Travis Borden Benoit was last seen on May 18th, 2018 in the late evening hours. Travis is known to frequent areas in Fort McMurray, including Timberlea and Stone Creek. The RCMP are seeking public assistance in locating Travis Benoit.

Travis Borden Benoit is described as:

  • An indigenous male
  • Height: 6’2″
  • Weight: 160 lbs
  • Normally clean shaven
  • Normally short hair
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Hair: Black

The Wood Buffalo RCMP are concerned for Travis Benoit’s well being and would like to locate him as soon as possible.
