Wood Buffalo RCMP seek help from the public to locate a ‘wanted’ man

Fort McMurray, Alberta – Wood Buffalo RCMP are requesting public assistance in locating Leslie Ernest Quintal. Leslie is being investigated in several RCMP investigations, and police would like to have Quintal in custody to prevent further crime from occurring in the region.

Several warrants for the arrest of Leslie Ernest Quintal have been granted. Some of the charges he is facing are:

  •  5 Fail to Comply, Section 145(3) C.C.,
  • 2 Fail to Attend Court, Section 145(2)(a, and b) C.C.,
  • 1 Fail to Report to Probation, 127(1) C.C.,
  • 1 Fail to Appear, Section 145(5) C.C.,
  • 1 Possession of Stolen Property under $5000.00, Section 355(B) C.C., and
  • 1 Misuse of Credit Card, Section 342(1) C.C.

Leslie Ernest Quintal is described as:

  • Aboriginal male
  • 25 years old
  • 5’9” tall
  • 175 lbs
  • Short, Dark Brown hair
  • Brown eyes

The Wood Buffalo RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Quintal. Residents are asked to please contact the Wood Buffalo RCMP at (780) 788-4040, or contact your local police if you see Leslie Ernest Quintal, or know of his whereabouts.

You are not required to reveal your identity to Crime Stoppers, and if you provide information to Crime Stoppers that leads to an arrest(s), you may be eligible for a cash reward.
