Wood Buffalo RCMP Seek Public Assistance in Bus Shelter Incident

Fort McMurray, Alberta – Wood Buffalo RCMP received a call for assistance on February 2, 2018 at approximately 8:30 a.m. A concerned citizen called in to advise of an incident that appeared to have taken place in a bus shelter on King Street, in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

The Wood Buffalo RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in order to help identify what may have occurred in the bus stop located on the north west side of King Street, between Franklin Avenue and Mills Avenue.

If you have any information regarding an incident that may have occurred at this location between 6:00 a.m. and 8:30 this morning, you are asked to contact the Wood Buffalo RCMP at 780-788-4040, or call your local police. Please contact police if you have any footage on your dash camera, or surveillance footage as well.

Wood Buffalo RCMP continue to investigate. It is unknown what injuries may have occurred, and police are reaching out to the public to help identify what may have occurred. No damage was observed to have occurred to the bus shelter. An update will be provided when new information becomes available.
