Wood Buffalo RCMP lay charges for drug trafficking

Fort McMurray, Alta. – On September 10, 2019, the Wood Buffalo RCMP Drug Section conducted an investigation into a male suspected of drug trafficking in Fort McMurray. The investigation led to a traffic stop where the driver was arrested and the vehicle searched. As a result of the search, RCMP seized 21 grams of suspected cocaine and over $835 of Canadian currency.

Godfrey Mills (31) of Calgary, Alberta, was arrested and charged with:
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking
• Proceeds of crime under $5000

Mills was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Fort McMurray Provincial Court on October 22, 2019.
