Wood Buffalo RCMP: Seek Assistance on a Break and Enter to a Business

Fort McMurray, Alta: During the morning of April 5th, 2020, Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter to the front window of a business near the intersection of Fraser Avenue and Marshall Street, in the downtown area of Fort McMurray. A local resident noticed the damage and contacted the police to investigate further. Wood Buffalo Forensic Identification Section attended the scene, in addition to General Duty police officers.

Wood Buffalo RCMP are seeking assistance from residents and business owners. If you were witness to this incident, please contact the Wood Buffalo RCMP at (780) 788-4040. If you have a surveillance system, camera, or dash camera footage that recorded between the hours of 9:00 p.m. on April 4th, 2020 and 9:00 a.m. on April 5th, 2020 in the area between King Street, Franklin Avenue, Gordon Avenue, and Prairie Loop Boulevard, that may have recorded any vehicles or suspects in the area during this time, please contact the RCMP.
