Wood Buffalo RCMP seek public assistance in identifying suspect of Robbery

Fort McMurray, Alta. – Wood Buffalo RCMP is asking for public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery on February 29, 2020.

Shortly after 4 p.m., Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a report of a potential armed robbery at business in the Thickwood area of Fort McMurray. AB. The suspect threatened the use of a firearm and obtained an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot.

The male suspect is described as:
• Caucasian
• Approximately 5′ 6”
• 30-40 years’ old
• Having a goatee
• Wearing:
– Black hat, black zip-up jacket (emblem on the left breast pocket), blue jeans, and white shoes with green fluorescent laces.
